Bauer Supreme Mach Senior Goalie Chest & Arm Protector

Brand new for 2022 Bauer has unleashed the newest iteration of its iconic line with the Bauer Supreme Mach Senior Goalie Chest & Arm Protector. The Mach offers all new features and improvements to improve the experience from previous models.

Looking at the front of the Bauer Mach you will notice large shoulder floaters comprised of Bauer’s Shock-Lite Pro material, a super lightweight and protective material designed to disperse impact taken in the floaters.

The sternum protector features Bauer’s Rebound Control Foam, which offers superior puck impact absorption to deaden high velocity impacts and increase protection. Moving down the belly blocks are made of Shock-Lite material to provide optimal protection on lower shots.

Moving to the arms, Bauer has revamped the system found on the UltraSonic and improved it exponentially for the Mach. The Active Motion Protection (AMP) hinge system originally on the UltraSonic has been redesigned as the AMP 2.0, offering more flexibility and protection during movements. Fused Curv Composite material in the biceps and forearms provide unmatched protection, while the elbow will feature a Hypersense liner and Shock-Lite foam for superior weight reduction and protection.

Finally on the back of the Bauer Mach Chest Protector there are two adjustment points for the collar located on top of the shoulders. On the backplate adjustments you will find one strap that runs through the middle of the goaltenders back that can be adjusted on one side. Lower down, two separate straps go out on to the sides and can be adjusted individually to find the exact fit the goaltender wants to achieve. Finally, for the strapping, a strap similar to a jersey fight strap can be used to attach the goaltender’s pants and chest protector. The backplate is made of an all new THERMOCORE Zero liner with molded foam ventilation to prevent overheating during play.
